Tom is committed to serving the public in ALL areas of Lucas County. He has a positive, proven track record of helping people and communities including 12 years on Toledo City Council. But his passion for serving began long before he entered the political arena. Read more below...
Credible
Long before Tom entered politics, he was asking the tough questions of our politicians as a television reporter and producer for more than 25 years. Tom was the first local reporter to receive an Emmy from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for busting a four-state dog fighting ring.
Accessible
Tom can be seen all around the county taking in the great opportunities for art, culture, and sports. Tom is a big fan of the Toledo Walleye, having been a season ticket holder since the franchise opened in 2009. Let's Go Fish!
Involved
Tom has served on several non-profit boards including chair of the regional United Way. He cares about our community and likes to remind himself that each of us has the God-given talent to be successful if we trust what is right and act upon it.
